Hoo, boy. If you remember when we started playing this, then you are either:
A: A former or current member of the band
or
B: An obsessive, crazed psychopath, probably planning to murder all four of us in some sex-fueled blood ritual.
It was not a very good song, and has barely withstood the test of time. It made it on the album after some sorely needed revisions. Also, you may want to ignore the lyrics. They're generi-metal lyrics I wrote ages ago, and the second song I ever wrote lyrics for, well before I decided on having retarded lyrical themes (instead of cliches, of course). I couldn't think of anything better to replace them with, so I suppose we can say this is generic on purpose, ironically. Yeah... that's it. I mean, I couldn't even seem to decide if it was an avalanche made of metal, or a snowvalanche caused by metal (perhaps the amps were too loud?) or something else entirely. Oh well!
lyrics
You hear cold wind howling
Satan's stomach growling
He has come for your soul
A thousand pounds of hate
Have now sealed your Fate
The mountain will swallow you whole
The white death comes, blinds your sight
No way left for you to fight
The time for atonement has long past
The embrace of death is complete
From your empty head to your wretched feet
The end is here at last
Metalavalanche
Hear the roar of nature's lust
To crush your bones to naught but dust
Pathetic coward, your mouth agape
For you there is no escape
